Little Friends for Peace

As LFFP’s communications coordinator, I manage a team comprised of a part-time graphic designer and two student interns per semester. We work alongside LFFP’s development coordinator and I report to the organization’s director. Below is my featured work from my 10 months so far with the non-profit, where I also served as a Peace Coach to lead programming in schools and for adults.

Semester in Review (January – June 2026) | Little Friends for Peace

Highlights from the first half of LFFP’s peace programmingmagazine style.

This 14-page document highlights LFFP’s mission and vision for peace building and features photos and testimonies from the semester’s peace programming – in Peace Class, at the Father McKenna Center, and witnessing for peace in the streets of our nation’s capitol.

“I am glad to see that LFFP advocates for those whose voices are ignored or not loud enough. LFFP has taught me that even the littlest actions have a big impact.”

Year in Review 2025 | Little Friends for Peace

A testament to LFFP’s conviction that peace is possible.

This 12-page document highlights LFFP’s mission and vision for peace building and features photos and testimonies from the year’s peace programming – Peace Class, Peace Camp, our ongoing work with community partners, retreats, and other peace witnesses in the Washington, D.C. metro area.

[Peace Camp] has been super rewarding for me because it shows that being peaceful is kind of a way of life. It’s not just some moments of your day.

2025 Fall Campaign | Make Your Peace Pledge

During Peace Class, we start with the Peace Pledge. It’s like the pledge of allegiance most students say at the start of the school day but modified to get them in the mindset of a peace builder. For our 2025 end of year campaign, we asked donors to make their financial peace pledge to continue funding peace education in the DMV area and around the world. I storyboarded and shot these videos.
